The Festival of Trees
The fifth year of the Festival of Trees sponsored by Can-DO as part of the Light up Gold Hill 2026 holiday celebration will take place at the IOOF Hall on 4th Avenue on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 6:00pm-8:00 pm following Santa Lights the Tree in the Gold Hill City Park. Please join us by donating a tree which will be given to a family in Gold Hill who otherwise would not have a Christmas tree.
This year we are accepting donors for 8 medium trees (height not to exceed 4’). Trees should be decorated with a Christmas/holiday theme. We invite individuals, friends, families, civic and social organizations, schools, and businesses to participate. Tree decorating is a terrific team-building activity!
See the 2026 Festival of Trees Policies & Procedures and the 2026 Festival of Trees Checklist for more information on what your participation involves.
Your participation means that 8 families in Gold Hill who might not have had a Christmas tree will have a Christmas tree to add to their holiday festivities.
